Kronenbourg 1664 Fruits Rouge

Natalie Gould, Shediac

Kronenbourg 1664 Fruits Rouge is a light beer with a hint of red fruit flavour. Very pleasant without being overly sweet. Great on its own or with a Baked Brie with red fruit topping such as raspberries or strawberries.

Leifur Nordic Saison

Pierre Cormier, Vaughan Harvey Blvd., Moncton

Leifur Nordic Saison stands out to me because it's a great benchmark for the Saison style. Citrus and pepper notes stand out while subtle herbaceous notes of the Nordic spices bring depth and balance to this refreshing beer. I'd have this with a lemon dill salmon or some charcuterie.

Wells Banana Bread Beer

Priscilla Anderson, Experience by ANBL, Moncton.

Don’t let the name scare you! Wells Banana Bread Beer is approachable and smooth, made with real fair trade bananas. It has the pleasant taste of fresh banana bread. Try it mixed with Young’s Double Chocolate Stout for an easy “Banana Split” beer cocktail!

Newcastle Brown Ale

Alexandre Davidson, Fairville Blvd., Saint John

Lots of people like a high level of IBU (bitterness) in their beer...  I tend to enjoy a bolder type of ale that makes me feel very comfortable by the woodstove after a fun winter afternoon playing in the snow. With its nice copper color, Newcastle Brown Ale brings some nice subtle caramel flavor notes and is a delicious example of a rich and bolder ale that brings me happiness... also goes very well with spicy Italian sausages.

Mirassou Pinot Noir

Luc, Edmundston

I recommend Mirassou Pinot Noir because it’s a fruity and very versatile wine that is affordable and most people enjoy.

Angus the Bull Cab Sauv

Kelly, Woodstock

Angus the Bull Cabernet Sauvignon is my favourite summer drink because it goes perfectly with a BBQ steak!

Colliding Tides

Sarah – Store Manager, St. Andrews & St. Stephen

With the beautiful warm weather and a glass full of ice, Colliding Tides is my choice for a summer afternoon.

Dusty Boots

Michelle – Assistant Category Manager, Experience Wines

When I take a break from wine, I like Dusty Boots served on ice.  It has a light smell of vanilla but it’s not too sweet.  It’s great for those sunny afternoons relaxing on the deck or those cold winter nights inside watching the hockey game.

Bowmore Darkest 15 YO

Steven – Product Advisor, Moncton North

Bowmore Darkest 15 YO is my favourite single malt Scotch. It has the perfect balance of fruit and smoky peat flavours. Bowmore is also one of the oldest distilleries in all of Scotland.

Ninja Turtle Cocktail

Monica - Neguac ANBL Team

It’s easy to make: Mix Melon Liqueur with Malibu Coconut and pineapple juice. This one is really great!

Innis & Gunn Kindred Spirits

Liam – York Street, Fredericton

I chose this Innis & Gunn Kindred Spirits Irish whiskey barrel aged stout because it takes a nicely balanced Scottish stout and adds wonderful flavours of vanilla and spice. These go very well with the stout's inherent dark chocolate and coffee notes.

Central City Thors Hammer Bourbon Barrel Aged Barley Wine

Kyle Zelmer, Corbett Centre, Fredericton

This beer is full-bodied and bold, with lots of caramel, vanilla, dried stone fruit, toffee and a hint of licorice. Central City Thors Hammer Bourbon Barrel Aged Barley Wine pairs exceptionally well with blue cheese.
