ANBL Supply Chain Update
As we all know, COVID-19 has had major impacts on many elements of our day to day lives. One of those impacts you may have noticed is that some of our products in stores are not always available. ANBL has been closely monitoring the challenges facing our supply chain and trying to manage them.
An increase in demand on consumer goods has added pressure on the traditional supply chains due to pandemic restrictions. Various factors like service levels with cargo ship, port demands and availabilities have resulted in a decrease in available shipments from around the world.
Domestically, port congestion, container shortages and a series of labor disruptions at the Port of Montreal have also impacted our supply chain.
We are working closely with our international supply chain partners and suppliers to stay informed during this evolving situation and we continue to plan ahead to allow for increased transit time. While we are experiencing this situation, we still have a wide-ranging portfolio to cover customers needs in most situations.
We appreciate your understanding should we experience any delays or issues related to availability of popular or imported products. Our intention is that the customer experience remain as uninterrupted as possible. Our experienced team members in our stores will be happy recommend some wonderful alternatives if we do not have the product you want available.
